The objective of the Medical Office Administrator (MOA) Online program is to prepare students to demonstrate competence in a variety of medical office administrative and clinical skills necessary for employment in a healthcare related setting. This course enables students to gain confidence and familiarity with using medical terminology, office procedures, computer applications and public contact. Work environments can range from busy emergency rooms to a specialist’s office to alternative health care and more.
The Medical Office Administrator Online program is designed to provide students with work and other obligations flexibility in completing this fulltime program. This program is taught online with required online learning activities each week, as well as 4 hours of weekly online live sessions which will be conducted in either the evenings or on the weekend (depending on the cohort start dates). The online core coursework is followed by a fulltime 6 week (240hour) externship placement in a work environment.

For students who qualify, a monthly payment plan may be extended beyond the end of your study period. Bad credit and no established credit can often be overcome. Due to recent policy changes from the Federal and Provincial Governments, Medix College, like many other postsecondary schools, is regrettably unable to issue Letters of Acceptance to international students.
